Cuando pensé en hacer este blog lo imaginé fácil. Bueno, tan fácil como imaginé hacer toda esta web. Sin tener idea de softwares para hacer web me metí de cabeza (como siempre suelo hacer las cosas a pesar de haber aprendido algo a dejar ser a lo largo de mi vida)....bien. Como decía, me puse de cabeza utilizando los conocimientos de diseño y de computación que he ido acumulando en los diversos trabajos que tuve en mi vida. Incluso tomé un cursillo corto por allí luego de meses sin avanzar mucho y el resultado es esta web que creo cumple bastante con el objetivo que me había propuesto, el de ser un espacio donde pudiera mostrar quien soy a través de mis dibujos y mis pinturas. Casi cada día estoy haciendo cambios y tratando de mejorarla y casi cada día también miro las estadísticas pues gracias a Dios las visitas suben constantemente, así que algo estaré haciendo bien. Lo del blog surgió luego de recorrer varios sitios de artistas y entender que tal vez yo también tenía algo que contar acerca de los procesos que me llevan a comenzar, desarrollar y terminar una obra. Procesos que son a veces asi, lineales y otras veces, que se cortan abruptamente, que avanzan, que retroceden, que cambian de aspecto y de forma y que a veces terminan con obras cubiertas de blanco para volver a empezar. Me ha costado mucho y aún no sé bien cómo incorporarlo aún mejor a la web...pero sé que seguiré tratando....

When I thought about making this blog, I imagined it would be a lot easier. Well, I imagined doing this whole website would be easy too. Not having any idea of web software I full dedicated me (as I always tend to do things despite having to leave something to be learned throughout my life ).... well. As I said, I started using design and computer knowledge that I have been accumulated in the various jobs I have. I even took a short course after months without making much progress and the result is this web. I believe that it accomplishes the objective I had proposed, to be a space where I could show who I am through my drawings and my paintings. Almost every day I am making changes and trying to improve the web site and almost every day too I look at the statistics (thank God the visits are constantly rising), so I'll must be doing something right. The blog idea came after touring several sites of artists where I understood that maybe I had something to tell about the processes that lead me to start, develop and finish an artwork. Processes that are sometimes linear, sometimes stopping, advancing, retreating, varying in appearance and manner, and sometimes ending up with the work covered in white paint to start over again. To include the blog in my webpage has been very difficult and I still do not really know how to do ... but I will keep trying ....
